How to read this page, and what it doesn't cover
We list the site, the proposal and the reference, and link to the council's own file for the full documents and the comment form. We do not reproduce applicant or objector details. Planning is quasi-judicial, so this is a record of what has been applied for, not our view of it.
The council's weekly list cuts long descriptions short. Where it does, we fill them in from the application's own summary page, taking the proposal text only. If a row still says "cut in the source list", we have not filled that one in yet and the full wording is in the application file.
The status shown is the council's own word for it. Whether the commenting period is still open is on the application file. The weekly list doesn't say, so neither do we.
The kind of application (new homes, trees, and so on) comes from the council's own reference code and a few fixed phrases in its description, not from a model. Anything those don't settle is "Other". Terms with a dotted underline have an explanation: hover over one or tap it.
