Site reference: HS18 – Tilekiln Farm, Fairlight Avenue/Tilekiln Lane Given that the Council previously assessed Tilekiln Farm as not meeting its SHLAA criteria in 2010 and as not currently developable in 2014, and has itself described Fairlight Road as “hazardous and narrow”, what new evidence now demonstrates that HS18 is suitable for housing, despite the longstanding highway, traffic, flooding, drainage, landscape and residential amenity constraints identified by the Council?
