Sensory Soft Play
What it does
Sensory Soft Play is a CIO aiming to relieve the needs of children and their families (primarily but not exclusively) with additional needs in Hastings and the surrounding area through the provision of multi-sensory soft play activities and the running of an online support group for parents and carers of children. We provide holiday clubs, respite clubs and days out for families with SEN.

Funding was provided towards an after school club for children with SEND for one year.

Funding was provided towards staff costs.

The funding will be used to run and expand a soft-play and activities centre for SEND children and their parents and carers. The project aims to provide physical activities for SEND children as well as providing a safe space to build lasting friendships.

The funding will be used by Sensory Soft Play to refurbish a building to establish a community therapy hub for families with children with special needs. The project aims to provide dedicated static facilities from which the charity can deliver a range of sensory play and alternative therapy activities aimed at children aged 5 – 11 and their parents.

Sensory Soft Play is a CIO that provides multi-sensory soft play activities (primarily for children with additional needs). They also run an online support group for parents and carers of children. Funding was provided to allow them to continue respite sessions in an outdoor setting which is COVID secure at the Pocket Park, which is a wildlife and community growing project in Hastings.

Funding was provided to enable them to continue to provide food packages for families they support.
