What it does
Hastings Voluntary Action is a Council for Voluntary Service that operates in the Borough of Hastings and its neighbourhood. One of the roles is to develop new services and meet identified needs. It gives advice and support to all local organisations.

£18k from The National Lottery Community Fund: Community of Hope Hastings
£8k from Sussex Community Foundation
Funding was provided towards increased organistion running costs due to cost of living increases and to purchase warm clothing and culturally-appropriate emergency food.
£10k from The National Lottery Community Fund: Increasing Volunteering in Hastings
The organisation will use the funding to increase the number of people who volunteer and establish volunteer networks by running two volunteer recruitment events and piloting a volunteer hub within their town.
