The funding will be used to employ admin staff support to enable them to run their existing Dementia Support Service. The project aims to provide on-going support information and training that unpaid carers of people living with Dementia need.
£354k from The National Lottery Community Fund: DISC Dementia Support 2023
This funding would support the project's core work enabling them to continue to provide free community-based support to people living with Dementia and their families and carers.
£154k from The National Lottery Community Fund: DISC Dementia Support 2122
The funding will provide ongoing support throughout the pandemic for people with dementia and their families. The aim is to help those with the condition deal with their issues during a time of change due to the Covid-19 pandemic and help provide mental health and wellbeing support to the individual and their families/carers.
£50k from The National Lottery Community Fund: DISC Dementia Support
The organisation will use funding to continue their current work supporting the needs of carers (and former carers) of those living with Dementia. The funding will also be used to write, develop and deliver workshops, tailored to the needs of both carers and organisations working in the Dementia field.
