£50k from The National Lottery Community Fund: The Alexandra Park Jubilee Project 2022
The project will use the funding to transform its pavilion into a wellbeing hub promote wellbeing activities workshops and events themed on the arts heritage nature and community engagement. The organisation will work with several partner groups and will run Platinum Jubilee celebratory events. This aims to reduce isolation bring people together and improve wellbeing.
£10k from The National Lottery Community Fund: Keep Safe Stay Connect Be Creative
The funding will support art workshops which promote mental health suicide awareness and crisis management. It will offer 36 x 6 week blocks x 10 participants including singing art creative writing. Sessions which will be facilitated by professional artists alongside a qualified wellbeing practitioner will be for people who are isolated vulnerable and at risk of isolation.
£5k from Sussex Community Foundation
Funding was provided to enable them to continue delivery of their funded art for wellbeing sessions in response to high demand.
