Officers confirmed the Plan already supports education use in the town centre but noted an existing planning application for the site. Councillor Warne questioned the allocation of land at Speckled Wood (Land at Graystone Lane (HS24)) in the draft Local Plan. Officers explained that a small parcel no longer meets Local Green Space criteria but may still require ecological assessment to determine whether it may qualify for another form of designation, such CABINET 26 JANUARY 2026 CAB.
